Family Safety Network (FSN) is an organization providing advocacy, support, and referral services to domestic violence victims and their families since 1993. Family Safety Network was founded by a group of concerned citizens who saw a need for this service in the community. We have been actively working with victim and survivors of domestic violence since then.

Family Safety Network has offices located in Walker, Park Rapids, and Bagley. We’ve recently expanded our services with Headwaters Intervention Center and Family Crisis Center becoming a part of the Family Safety Network. With these additional locations, our services have expanded to cover Cass, Clearwater, and Hubbard Counties. This coverage includes Leech Lake Reservation.

Our belief is direct advocacy and education is vital to breaking the cycle of violence.

We are able to provide relief to victims of violence by offering the following;

  • Personal and Legal Advocacy

  • Confidential Support

  • Assistance with court filings

    • Orders for Protection

    • Harassment Restraining Orders

  • Accompaniment to Court Hearings

  • Safety Planning

  • Support Groups

  • 24 Hour Crisis Line

  • Referral Services

We know that families come in many different forms. Through support and advocacy we strive for the elimination of violence in all families.
